Babylist offers an extensive range of furniture from various brands. While most items are eligible for standard shipping, some ship through a freight carrier due to their size and weight. As you browse for nursery essentials, keep an eye out for the special shipping bullet point indicators in the product specifications section. These will let you know which pieces of furniture ship using this method.

When Placing Your Order
Furniture items that ship directly from the vendor can take additional time to process. These orders have a non-refundable furniture shipping surcharge.
Freight orders only ship to the contiguous 48 states. This excludes Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and other US Territories. We don’t ship internationally.
A phone number must be provided at checkout—it’s required for delivery. Without it, your order may be canceled. (If you didn’t provide one, a Babylist Support specialist will email you. If we don’t hear from you within three calendar days, your order will be canceled.)
What to Expect After Your Order is Placed
It can take three to four weeks from the shipping date to delivery—this is just an estimate. Your package(s) might arrive sooner!
When your order ships, one of our support specialists will email you all of the freight carrier details including their information, their customer support phone number, how you can track your shipment and what to expect for delivery.
The freight carrier will contact you directly to schedule a delivery date once they’re close to your address. They’ll call a second time to confirm a four-hour window. (Someone will need to be home to sign for the delivery.) Once your furniture arrives, be sure to inspect the item(s) thoroughly.
There’s an Issue with Your Order
If your order arrives damaged, defective, missing parts/pieces or is incorrect, we're here to help. If you have any questions or concerns about your order, reply directly to the email we sent you titled, ATTENTION REQUIRED Re: Shipment Info For Your Recent Babylist Purchase. You’ll need to include the following information:
- Description of the error
- Photo or video of the product(s)
- Photo of the shipping box
- Your Babylist Shop order number
- Your name and shipping address
Once your request is reviewed, a team member will be in touch with the next steps.
Returning Your Order
If you’d like to initiate a return for any reason, reply directly to the email we sent you, ATTENTION REQUIRED Re: Shipment Info For Your Recent Babylist Purchase and a team member will follow up with instructions. When contacting us, please provide the following details:
- Reason for return
- Attach a photo or video of the product(s)
- Photo of the shipping box
- Your Babylist Shop order number

Freight orders are subject to our return policy.
Items can’t be returned through standard ground shipping. They’ll need to go back the same way they came—with a freight company (at no cost to you).
