This article explains how to connect an existing registry from another store to your Babylist so everything is in one place.
Add another registry on the web
- From your Babylist registry, click Add Items.
- On the next page, find Have an existing baby registry? and select Transfer Items.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to link or transfer your other store’s registry.

Once complete, the linked registry will appear within your Babylist registry.
Add another registry in the Babylist app
- Open the Babylist app.
- Tap the Menu (☰) or Profile icon in the top corner.
- Go to Registry Settings > Transfer or Link a Registry.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to connect your other store’s registry.

Once linked, the registry will appear within your Babylist registry view.
Troubleshooting common issues
If your registry isn’t linking, here are the most common reasons:
- Your other store’s registry is private. Make sure it’s set to public so Babylist can access it.
- You entered an incorrect or incomplete URL. Try refreshing the page and entering the full registry link again. Double-check that the URL goes to your other store’s registry, not to an individual item or shopping cart.
- The retailer’s site may be temporarily unavailable. Some registries (like Target) may experience short-term connection issues due to site updates or maintenance. Try linking again later.
- Issues with a specific store. If you’re still having trouble, click the Contact Support button that appears—our support team can help troubleshoot the issue.
