When you add an item from another store to your Babylist registry, you’re adding a link to that store’s product page. Babylist can’t automatically detect which variation you prefer so you can use the Notes field to share that information with your Gift Givers.
Add size and color preferences on desktop
- Go to your registry and find the item you want to update.
- Click the pencil icon beside the item to open the edit view.
- In the Notes box, write any important details, such as size, color, pattern, or personalization requests.
- Click Save changes when you’re done.
Example: “Size 0–3 months, color: sage green, monogram ‘A.L.’”
Add size and color preferences on the app
- Open the Babylist app and go to your registry.
- Find the item you’d like to update and tap the pencil icon.
- Add your size, color, or personalization details in the Notes field.
- Tap Save to update your registry.
Tips
- Be as specific as possible with your preferences to make shopping easier for your Gift Givers.
- Double-check the link opens to the correct product and variation on the retailer’s website.
- If you’re unsure whether a retailer lists each size or color separately, note your preferences in the Notes box anyway.
You can update or remove notes anytime as your preferences change.
