When you add an item from another retailer to your Babylist registry, you’re essentially adding a link. This link will redirect your Gift Givers to the product on that retailer’s site. If all the colors and sizes for an item are clumped onto one link (minus the technical lingo), there’s no way for the app or Babylist button to know which option you prefer. Because of this, we recommend using your note box to specify this information. You can add sizing, color, pattern, length or any personalization to the note box. This takes the guesswork out of which one to pick for your Gift Givers!
Here's what you'll see when using your desktop:
Click the pencil icon beside the item.
Leave your preference or instructions in the Notes box.
If you're on the app, it'll look like this:
Once you've added it to your list, tap the pencil icon and enter the details in the Notes box.
