Automatic product matching
Babylist automatically matches items on your registry with buying options from Babylist, Amazon, Target, and Walmart when possible. This feature helps friends and family choose where they’d like to purchase a gift.
To turn this setting on or off:
- Go to Settings > Registry Info > Registry Preferences.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page.
- Check or uncheck the box labeled When possible, automatically show multiple stores that offer an item.
- Select Save.
Automatic matches can’t be edited or removed individually.
Manually add or remove retailer links
You can also manually add up to three additional buying options for any item on your registry. These links help your friends and family compare prices or choose another retailer.
To add a buying option:
- Find the item on your registry.
- Tap the pencil icon on the item card to open the Edit details menu.
- Scroll to the bottom and select + Add a buying option. (This appears only if there are fewer than four retailer links.)
- Paste the store link and enter the price.
- Tap Save in the top-right corner.
To remove a buying option, go back to the Edit details menu and delete any manually added links. Only manually added options can be removed.
Things to know
- Friends and family can purchase from any store, even if it’s not listed on your registry.
- Items purchased from other retailers follow that store’s return policy.
