How can I add a Collaborator to my registry?

Collaborators can help you build your Babylist registry by suggesting or adding items, making it easier to plan together. Collaborators have limited access compared to partners—they can edit the registry but can’t manage sensitive account settings or discounts.

Add a collaborator from the web

1. Go to your registry on the Babylist website.
2. Click your name in the top-right corner to open the menu.
3. Select Settings > Partner & Collaborators.
4. Enter the collaborator’s name and email address, then select Send Invite.
5. They’ll receive an email invitation to join. Once they accept and create their own login, they’ll be able to add and edit items on your registry.

Add a collaborator from the app

1. Open the Babylist app.
2. Tap the menu icon (☰) in the top-left corner.
3. Select Registry > Partner & Collaborators.
4. Enter their name and email address, then tap Send Invite.
5. Once they accept the invitation, they can start helping you add items to your registry.

Collaborator permissions

Collaborators can:

• Add and edit registry items.
• Manage cash funds (if enabled).

Collaborators cannot:

• Redeem or use Babylist Shop Gift Card credit or return credit.
• Access the 15% registry discount.
• Order the Hello Baby Box.
• Manage Group Gift funds.
• View tracking information.
• Deactivate the registry.
• Edit key registry details (names or arrival date).
