If an item is missing from your order or you received the wrong item, follow these steps to confirm and resolve the issue.
Check your order and shipments
- Review your order confirmation email or Order Status page to confirm what was included in your order
- Check if your order is split into multiple shipments
- Look for additional tracking numbers—your item may still be in transit
If the item is still on the way, no further action is needed.
If an item is missing or incorrect
If the item is not listed as in transit or you received the wrong item:
- Keep any incorrect items and packaging
- Contact our support team for help
Provide the following details to speed up the process:
- Your Babylist order number (if available)
- A description of what you received vs. what you expected
- A photo of the item (if possible)
If you don’t have your order number, contact our support team and include as much detail as possible (such as your email address and order information).
What happens next
Our support team will review your request and provide next steps based on your situation.
If your order is from another retailer
Some items on your registry may be purchased from other retailers. Babylist can’t resolve issues for those orders.
Contact the retailer directly for help with missing or incorrect items. Most retailers will ask for:
- The email address used to place the order
- The order confirmation number
