If a gift on your registry was purchased from another retailer (not the Babylist Shop), that store will handle the return directly. Babylist doesn’t manage returns or refunds for items sold by other retailers.
Find gift and order details
You can view your gift information in your Gift Tracker. This page shows the gift giver’s name and email address (if they provided it), along with the item and store details. Having this information handy can help make the return process smoother.
Start your return
To begin the return process:
- Visit the website or contact the customer service team for the store where the gift was purchased.
- Provide them with any order details you have (such as the giver’s name, email, or order confirmation number if shared).
- Follow the store’s return instructions. Most retailers can look up an order using the purchaser’s information if you don’t have the order number.
Review the store’s return policy
Each retailer has its own return rules, timelines, and requirements. Be sure to review their specific return policy before sending anything back. Keep in mind that these stores do not have access to Babylist order information or your registry details.
