Your shipping address is visible to friends and family by default, so gifts can be shipped straight to you. You can hide it at any time.
What can friends and family see?
- Your address shows on your registry by default, so gifts can be shipped to you.
- This is true whether someone buys from another retailer or from the Babylist Shop.
- Your address setting is separate from your registry privacy setting.
Hide your address
Turn on Do not show my address to gift givers in your shipping or privacy settings.
On the web
- Log in to your account.
- Go to Settings.
- Select Visibility & privacy.
- Turn on Do not show my address to gift givers.
- Save your changes.
On the app
- Tap the Menu icon at the top left.
- Tap Registry.
- Tap Visibility & privacy.
- Turn on Do not show my address to gift givers.
- Tap Save.

What happens when your address is hidden
- Friends and family who don't already know your address won't see it.
- They'll be prompted to reach out to you directly for it.
- This applies to gifts from other retailers and gifts from the Babylist Shop.
Things to know
- Making your registry private does not hide your address. Address visibility is its own setting.
- Babylist doesn't share or transfer your address to other retailers' websites.
- You can change this setting whenever you want.
