You can check the status of a gift from your Gift Tracker page.
If a gift is marked as purchased:
Some Gift Givers like to send gifts straight to you, while others might ship them to their own homes so they can wrap and give them in person.
If you have a baby shower or sprinkle planned, you might want to wait and see what shows up there first. Even without an event, many people love the chance to hand-deliver their gift—it’s part of the fun.
Curious who bought the gift? Check out Where do I see who purchased a gift?
If a gift is on hold or reserved:
If you notice items on your registry marked as on hold or reserved, that just means someone’s added them to their cart. We’ll hold them there for 48 hours while they check out. If they don’t purchase in that time, the items will go back on your registry—no action needed from you.
If a gift is not marked as purchased:
If a gift still shows as available on your registry, it probably hasn’t been marked as purchased yet.
Already have the item? To help avoid duplicates, you can mark it as purchased by clicking the pencil icon next to the item.
If a Gift Giver is sure they bought something, but it’s not showing as purchased, it’s possible a step was missed during checkout. They can double-check by looking for a purchase confirmation (email or receipt).
Still not sure? Reaching out to the store where they placed the order is a good way to see if anything went through.
