How you pay for your gift depends on where you choose to buy it. Our Registrants can add items from any store to their Babylist registry, which means you can shop from any store too!
If Babylist sells the item, you’ll see an option to buy directly from us. Just click Add to Cart and head to checkout. If the Registrant has shared their address with us, we’ll offer it as a shipping option for you.
Once you’ve placed your order, no need to come back and mark your gift as purchased—we’ll take care of it for you. We’ll add the Babylist Shop order number, and include tracking information (if you’ve sent the gift to the Registrant).
If you’d rather buy your gift from another store, just click one of the Buy buttons next to the store’s offer. We’ll take you straight to the item on that retailer’s website, where you can add it to your cart and check out.
Insider tip: Make sure you manually enter your preferred shipping address at checkout. Babylist can’t auto-populate the Registrant’s address on another website.
Once you’ve bought your gifts, head back to the registry page to mark them as purchased. You can add the store and order details, plus leave a personalized gift message for the Registrant.
A few things to keep in mind when buying from other stores:
- We won’t be able to auto-fill the Registrant’s address if you’re purchasing from a different store.
- If you want to ship the gift directly to the Registrant, you'll need to enter the address manually during checkout.
