Why was my order canceled?
Order cancellations can happen for a few different reasons:
- The item is out of stock. While we do our best to keep inventory updated in real time, availability can change quickly—especially for popular items.
- We weren’t able to verify your shipping address. If there’s a mismatch or issue with the address provided (like a missing apartment number or unrecognized postal code), we will email you to ask for confirmation. If we don't hear back, we may need to cancel the order to prevent delivery issues.
- There was a system error. On rare occasions, a technical issue may prevent us from successfully processing your order.
If your order was canceled, you’ll receive an email with more details. We’ll also issue a full refund for any canceled items.
Why was only part of my order canceled?
Some orders are fulfilled by multiple warehouses or vendors, which means your items may ship separately. If one of the items becomes unavailable or there’s an issue processing it (like an out-of-stock item), that part of your order may be canceled while the rest continues to ship as expected.
You’ll receive an email with details about the canceled item, along with a refund confirmation. Any remaining items in your order will still arrive on their own timeline.

Refund and Payment Questions
- Refund Expectations
- If your order was cancelled, you'll be refunded to the original form of payment. It may take up to 10 business days to reflect on your statement, depending on the bank.
- If you used Babylist Shop credit to place your order, the refund will be immediately available to you.
