Can I copy another Babylist registry?

You can copy items from another Babylist registry or move items from an old list using the transfer feature.

Copy a Babylist registry

Use the transfer tool to copy all items from another Babylist registry into your own.

On the web

1. Go to your registry
2. Select Transfer items
3. Choose Babylist from the store dropdown menu
4. Paste the Babylist registry link you want to copy
5. Click Transfer items

On the app

1. Tap the menu icon (top-left corner)
2. Tap Registry Settings
3. Tap Transfer or link a registry
4. Select Transfer items and tap Next
5. Choose Babylist from the store menu
6. Search for the registry by name (if it’s public) or paste the direct URL
7. Tap Transfer items

What to expect after transferring items

All items from the selected registry are added to your Babylist registry.

• Item details like title, image, price, and quantity are included when available
• Notes or priority settings from the original registry are not copied
• You can edit items after transfer to add notes or mark items as most wanted

If some items don’t appear, the original registry may not allow access to those items or the link may be invalid. Try transferring again or add missing items manually.
