When you buy from Babylist Shop or mark an item as purchased from another store, select the option to keep the gift a surprise. This hides the gift details until the registrant chooses to view them.
Some information may still appear on the registrant’s Thank You list, such as your name, email address, or shipping details if provided.
Mark a gift as a surprise
- Select Add to cart for a Babylist Shop item, or select I’ve purchased this for an item from another store.
- Enter your name and email address.
- Select Keep this gift a surprise.
- Complete checkout or submit the purchase.
The gift details remain hidden until the registrant chooses to reveal them.
What to expect
- The registrant may receive an email notification when a gift is purchased
- Your contact details may appear on the Thank You list
- If you do not mark the item as purchased, others may buy the same item
- The registrant can choose to reveal the hidden gift details at any time
