Surprises can be difficult when there's a registry involved. But if you want to keep your gift out of the peeking eye of the Registrant, here's how:
- Click Add to Cart if you're buying from the Babylist Shop or check the I've purchased this box beside the item if you've bought your gift elsewhere.
- Enter your name and email address.
- Check the Keep this gift a surprise box. (This will let the parent-to-be know that you want to keep the details of your gift hidden.)
Insider scoop: Registrants hold all the power—they can still choose to reveal their gift details if they want to.
Other things to keep in mind:
- Registrants may sign up for email notifications whenever a gift is purchased from their registry.
- Your name and email address (and physical address, if you choose) get added to the registry's Thank You list.
- If you don't mark your gifts as purchased, they remain available on the registry for others to buy duplicates. We really don't want you to skip this step and neither does the Registrant.
