How do I choose a gift?

Babylist is a universal registry, which means registrants can add items from any store. Babylist shows multiple buying options for each item.

View buying options

1. Open the registry.
2. Select an item.
3. Review the available stores listed for that item.

If the item is available from Babylist, Babylist Shop appears as an option alongside other retailers.

Buy from Babylist Shop

1. Select Babylist Shop for the item.
2. Go to checkout.
3. Complete your purchase.

When you buy from Babylist Shop:

• The registrant’s shipping address is filled in at checkout (if they’ve shared it)
• The item is automatically marked as purchased on the registry
• The registrant can track the order and manage returns in one place

Buy from another store

1. Select Buy next to your preferred retailer.
2. Complete your purchase on the retailer’s website.
3. Return to the registry.
4. Select I’ve purchased this to mark the item as bought.

Marking an item as purchased helps prevent duplicate gifts.
