We know many showers are hosted by a friend or family member, so we've made it easy to add a host.
To add a host:
- Open your Shower Hub.
- Select Who's hosting?
- Add the person you want to give host access.
If the person is already a collaborator on your registry, you'll see them listed and can simply select them; they'll get an email letting them know they've been added as a host, with nothing extra to accept. If they're not on Babylist yet, we'll send them an invitation to create an account; when they accept, they become both a shower host and a registry collaborator.
Either way, hosts have the same access to the event that you have. They can:
- Add or change the shower date, time, and location.
- Create and edit the invitation.
- Add and manage guests.
- Send invitations.
- View RSVPs, party sizes, and guest details.
Note: adding a host is currently available on iOS only. If you're on your computer, open the Babylist app on your phone to add a host.
