If you see a Cash Fund contribution on your Gift Tracker but haven't received the funds in your Venmo or PayPal account, that likely means that your Gift Giver didn’t complete the transaction, and didn’t cancel their gift on the registry. If they had, you would’ve received an email notification straight from Venmo or PayPal letting you know you were sent money.
Here’s how it works:
When a Gift Giver chooses to contribute to a Cash Fund, we send them to Venmo or PayPal to complete the transaction. Then they come back to the registry (or to their email confirmation) to tell us whether they sent you the funds. If not, they’d want to click, I decided not to contribute.
