Working from your desktop, head to your registry's Home page and tap Add a Cash Fund on the right-hand side of your screen (or click + Add Items > Babylist and select Cash Funds from the list).
Choose a template and leave it as it is, or get creative and edit it by changing the image or title. (For more on that, read on.)
Decide whether you want to receive contributions via Venmo or PayPal when setting up your Cash Fund.
Once you add the Cash Fund to your registry, customize it to your liking. Go to the item and click on the pencil icon to Edit Details. You can then change the photo, title, and custom note for your guests.
From the app, tap on Add Items at the bottom. Click the Babylist icon and scroll to find Gift Card, Favors & Cash Funds. Select Cash Funds and press the Add to Babylist button. Go ahead—customize it.
Keep in mind:
- Partners or Collaborators can add Cash Funds on the app, but not on web.
- You can't set a custom goal, but if you have an amount in mind, you can always add that info in the Note box. This will let your friends and family know what you need.
- Babylist doesn’t have visibility into these funds but guests will mark their contributions so you can keep track.
- Babylist is not affiliated with Venmo or PayPal and we don't have internal specifics on their policies. For further details on general information, international accounts and currency exchange fees, please reach out to them directly.
