The price on the registry and the price on the store’s website are different. Which is correct?

The store price is correct, not the price on the registry. This happens because the price is added to Babylist at the time the registrant first adds the item, and sometimes the price changes later. We are able to keep some prices up to date, but some retailers aren’t able to send us updates when they change their prices.

Some stores, like Amazon, allow third party sellers sell their products through Amazon and Amazon lets those third party sellers set their own prices. Because of that and because they could have any number of third parties selling one product, prices can fluctuate even on an hourly basis depending on stock.

Thankfully though, Babylist gives you the freedom to purchase your gift anywhere. So if you can find the gift for a better price at another retailer, you can purchase it there instead.
